“Prince Trubetskoy Winery” uses only its own grapes for winemaking. Trubetskoy vineyards are located on area of 200 hectares in Khersonska oblast on the slopes of the Dnipro River. The major grape varieties on vineyards: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Aligote. All saplings have been imported from Italy and France. It is the quality grapes that give wine its subtle and elegant qualities that become apparent in its taste and aroma.

Great wine is made in the vineyard. Famous wine critic Oz Clarke, opening the book “Wine Atlas”, wrote: “Eternal truths become more evident: what makes wine fine, what distinguishes it from others. Every conscientious winemaker in any country knows that after all the upper bound of wine quality depends on one factor – quality of grapes”. Therefore, the vineyards, their location and winemakers’ approach to the care for perennial plantings determine the quality of wine that people will enjoy many years later.

The process of quality wine production resembles work of art creation. Every detail, touch and the source material, used by the master, matter. “Prince Trubetskoy Winery” is striving for perfection at every stage of production of high-quality Ukrainian wine.
